About Our Pork
We raise Red Wattle/Berkshire cross pigs. Red Wattle pork is prized for its pink meat rich with flavor that are prized by top chefs everywhere. Berkshire pigs have wonderful marbled meat and are known for excellent Hams and Bacon. Our breed lives out in pasture with sunshine and lots of grass, acorns and roots. Our pigs are fed high quality whey from the local award winning Rogue Creamery. Feeding pigs whey gives the pork a richness much like the Parma hams of Italy.
We never give our pigs hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides. They are fed on organic rotating pastures with local varieties of grass in Southern Oregon.
Our Smoked Sausages are Smoked By World Famous Taylor's Sausages and Our Bacon, Ham Hocks, and Hams are Smoked By Southern Oregon Fine Meats.
Individual cuts of meat are available, as well as 1/4, 1/2, and whole pigs. Ask about our locker beef and pork.
